Your tasks and responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the Global Tax Lead, you will steer the optimization, automation and digitalization of tax (compliance) processes as well as tax accounting & reporting for the entire group
• Driving the implementation of fully digitalized processes using our ERP as well as available tools and technology (e.g. Excel, PowerBI, Tableau)
• Understanding the business in detail and identify which stakeholders need to be involved to establish a digitized process and bring it to life
• Implementing templates and controls across all tax-relevant workstreams (direct & indirect taxes) to roll-out to the entire group
• Supporting and enabling all relevant teams in the fulfillment of tax documentation/compliance and reporting obligations
• Maintaining and further improving the Tax Compliance Management System through identification of measures, implementation of controls and continuous optimization of processes
• Developing and implementing standards in contract templates, standard clauses and other consistent tax technical terms and provisions
• Managing large projects end to end, including prioritizing & process optimization to improve efficiency
• Setting us up for growth: Identify tax processes that will be needed in future as we are growing and ensure a company-wide understanding of needed processes 

• Providing consultation to data teams on the design, development, and implementation of IT-based solutions for the tax department

What we are looking for:

• You have a commercial, IT and/or tax background with a great understanding for processes, structures and technology
• You gained at least 5 years of professional experience in the finance/tax department of an international company or same field in an international consultancy 
• You are well versed in the norms of German or foreign tax law and are eager to further develop your tax technical skill set in that area – a Tax advisor qualification would be a plus
• You possess strong communication skills, especially with colleagues who do not have a tax background, and determination in implementing processes across different teams
• Your style of work is shaped by excellent self-organization, a high level of commitment and a healthy approach to change and challenges
• You are a solution-focused person, taking ownership over your actions and fostering a collaborative environment
• You are confident in dealing with MS Navision (our ERP System)

• You are fluent in English; German or other languages are very welcome
