You as part of tonies:
In this role, you will act as the right hand to our CXO, supporting strategic decision-making and execution across product, content, and marketing. You will drive transformation by establishing effective ways of working and clear processes that enable tonies to achieve its strategic goals. Working closely with team leaders, the Chief of Staff from our Strategy Team, and the Head of CFO Office, you will ensure alignment and maximize impact. You will report directly to the CXO in a Head-level position. While this role does not include people leadership, it requires strong stakeholder management skills to influence, align, and deliver results across functions.
Your tasks and responsibilities will include:
  • Lead the CXO strategic planning process, organizing, tracking, and evaluating the impact of strategies and initiatives over time. This includes managing the 24-month rhythm of business to balance capacity and ensure quality outputs across product, content, and marketing workstreams.
  • Own the annual CXO goal-setting process, as well as monthly reviews and quarterly progress reports for the leadership team. Ensure that key performance indicators are accurately measured and clearly communicated.
  • Identify areas of strategic importance, engage the right stakeholders, and surface the right data to focus executive attention on solving complex challenges.
  • Lead cross-functional projects tied to business priorities. This includes frequently initiating new projects, driving them end-to-end in the short term, and handing them over to other teams once long-term ownership is secured.
  • Design and manage CXO team communications, ensuring consistent updates on progress, highlighting wins, and surfacing opportunities.
What we are looking for:
  • Candidates must be currently based in Germany, ideally in Düsseldorf.
  • 12+ years of experience in high-growth, omnichannel consumer brands with matrixed organizations, either directly or as a consultant.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and sound business judgment.
  • Advanced analytical skills to develop data-driven recommendations and clear hypotheses.
  • Proven experience in project management, process improvement, prioritization, and multitasking.
  • Ability to work closely with senior leadership, quickly identify urgent issues, and communicate them concisely to executive decision makers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; German is a plus.
  • Demonstrated success in navigating ambiguity and managing multiple cross-functional projects in a matrixed environment.
