You as part of tonies:

As (Senior) Software Engineer you are responsible for developing and maintaining our Manufacturing Data Platform, the central system orchestrating data exchange between internal systems and manufacturing operations. This role is critical for ensuring seamless data flow across all production systems and maintaining 24/7 operational reliability.

Your tasks and responsibilities will include:

Design and implement robust data exchange pipelines between manufacturing systems
Develop and maintain core manufacturing database features and integrations
Develop and maintain system monitoring and observability solutions
Ensure ERP synchronization and accurate data flow across manufacturing systems
Support integration with data analytics platforms and historical data migration
Optimize system performance and reliability, ensuring 24/7 operational uptime
Provide technical consultation on data-related topics and system integrations

What we are looking for:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
7+ years of software development experience with a focus on Python/Django
Extensive experience with AWS services and cloud architecture
Expertise in data modeling, analytics system design, and data warehousing
Proven track record in designing and implementing large-scale applications
Strong background in building and maintaining data integration pipelines
Familiarity with GitLab and modern DevOps practices
Experience working in Agile development environments
In-depth understanding of data processing and system integration patterns
Proven ability to deliver reliable, scalable production systems
