You as part of tonies:
As Senior NPI & Change Manager - Figurines, you will take a key role in steering and coordinating product introductions and changes across our new form factors and existing series portfolio. In this role, you will ensure that all operational implementation and change initiatives are holistically managed — from initial planning through cross-functional alignment to successful implementation in ongoing production.

As this is a newly established role, you will also be responsible for building up our end-to-end implementation and change management processes and respective approval workflows from scratch. This includes defining governance structures and routines that will shape how we manage product changes going forward.
You’ll work closely with Portfolio Management, Launch Management, and all relevant departments such as Product Design, Product Realization, Supply Chain, Strategic Procurement and Quality to deliver seamless and efficient change processes that support our innovation and product lifecycle strategies.
Your tasks and responsibilities will include:
  • New Product Introduction Management: Lead the structured planning, coordination, and implementation of series introductions across our product portfolio. Ensure timely and cost-effective execution with minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
  • Change Management Leadership: Lead the structured planning, coordination, and implementation of series modifications across our product portfolio. Ensure timely and cost-effective execution with minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
  • Process Setup & Framework Building: Design and implement a scalable change management process and governance model. Set up the necessary tools, documentation standards, and approval workflows to ensure transparency and alignment across teams.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders from Design, Product Realization, Supply Chain, and Quality to ensure that all technical and operational requirements are considered and integrated into the change process.
  • Portfolio and Launch Alignment: Ensure all change activities are in line with portfolio strategy and support upcoming product launches. Act as the connector between strategic planning and operational execution.
  • Process Optimization: Develop and continuously improve change management frameworks and tools. Identify process bottlenecks and implement improvements to increase efficiency and transparency.
  • Documentation & Governance: Ensure all change activities are thoroughly documented and comply with internal policies and relevant industry standards. Maintain clear and traceable decision-making processes.
  • Risk Management: Assess potential risks associated with product changes and develop mitigation plans in coordination with all involved functions.
What we are looking for:
  • Several years of experience (ideally 5+) in change management or a comparable field within a product-driven environment (e.g., automotive, consumer electronics, manufacturing)
  • Project management knowledge and experience with agile approaches, e.g., SCRUM Master training
  • You work in a structured, organized manner and can set priorities independently
  • Experience working with product lifecycle tools and change management systems (e.g., PLM, ERP)
  • Fluent in German and English, both spoken and written
  • Willing to travel approximately 30% of your time (suppliers, business partner)
  • And last but not least, you are able to be on site regularly in our office in Schwäbisch Gmünd to coordinate with the team
Why tonies?

  • Come as you are: This applies not only to the dress code but also to everything else. Because only where you truly feel comfortable can you give your best.
  • Mobility: Choose the option that suits you best - a Deutschlandticket (public transport ticket) for unlimited mobility, a monthly contribution for an office parking space, a leasing bicycle, or a remote work subsidy.
  • Enhanced Security: Benefit from subsidies for company pension plans, occupational pension schemes, and occupational disability insurance.
  • Rest & Time Off: Enjoy 30 days of paid annual leave as well as three additional days off such as Rosenmontag, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Eve. After one year of employment, you can also use up to 10 "toniecation days" (unpaid leave days).
