As Senior Product Manager at tonies, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering innovative new experiences within our growing product portfolio. From defining long-term product vision to leading cross-functional execution, you’ll be responsible for driving end-to-end product success — always keeping our little listeners and their families at the heart of everything you do. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to bring meaningful, fun, and high-impact products to life.
Your tasks and responsibilities will include:
  • Product Roadmap: Define and own the long-term product roadmap, aligning with tonies’ business goals for growth, profitability, and customer engagement.
  • Strategy & Vision: Develop a deep understanding of market dynamics, consumer insights, competitive landscape, and industry trends to inform product strategy.
  • End-to-End Product Lifecycle Management: Lead the full product lifecycle — from concept to launch and beyond. Ensure on-time delivery, budget adherence, and commercial success across all stages.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams across Product Development, Content, Licensing, Finance,  Supply Chain, and Sales to drive seamless execution and alignment.
  • External Partner Management: Establish and manage relationships with external publishers, agencies, and partners, ensuring strong alignment with internal licensing and product goals.
  • Operational & Financial Oversight: Monitor key metrics including pricing, margin, and cost of goods. Support portfolio expansion and manage end-of-life strategies in coordination with relevant teams.
  • Performance Tracking & Optimization: Establish clear KPIs, analyze product performance, and implement improvements based on user feedback and data insights.
What we are looking for:
  • 8+ years of experience in product management or a comparable role focused on the development of children's products (entertainment/edutainment).
  • Strong understanding of the toys, board games, or connected entertainment sectors.
  • Affinity for technology, especially connected devices and phygital experiences.
  • Experience with licensed products is a plus
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional product teams and managing the full product lifecycle—from concept through launch and post-launch optimization—resulting in commercially successful products.
  • Outstanding communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across diverse teams, as well as internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; additional languages such as German or French are a plus.
  • Highly organized, hands-on, and solution-oriented, with experience managing multiple products in fast-paced, evolving environments.
  • Strong analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
