At tonies, everything revolves around stories, and we need a master storyteller to help us find the characters for our next chapter! As our Head of Global Talent Acquisition, you aren’t just a "recruiter-in-chief"; you are the architect of our global growth and the guardian of our unique culture.

Reporting to our CHRO, you will lead a team of talented recruiters across the US, UK, and Germany. Your mission is to harmonise our global hiring efforts while ensuring that, whether we are hiring in Boston, London, Berlin or Düsseldorf, the experience feels as magical as the first time a child places a Tonie on a box. You’ll be a strategic partner, a mentor, and the driving force behind a data-driven TA function that scales as fast as our imagination.

Your tasks and responsibilities will include:

  • Lead the Team: You will mentor and lead a team across the UK, US, and Germany. You’ll foster a true "one team" community, bridging time zones with empathy and a dash of fun.
  • Architect the Engine: You’ll build and refine our global TA processes from the ground up, moving us from "startup hustle" to "scale-up smooth."
  • The Ashby Aficionado: You will champion our use of Ashby, ensuring it’s not just a database but a powerful engine for data-driven decisions and a seamless candidate journey.
  • Executive Matchmaking: You’ll lead the charge on recruiting for our most senior leadership and executive roles, acting as a trusted advisor to our top management.
  • Strategic Partnering: You’ll be the go-to partner for our People Partners and Hiring Managers, helping them forecast needs and build high-performing teams.
  • Culture Catalyst: You’ll ensure our employer brand shines globally, making tonies the most sought-after home for top-tier talent.
  • Master of the Metrics: You’ll turn raw data into a clear roadmap, using sharp insights to fine-tune our operations and ensure our hiring decisions are as smart as they are human.

What we are looking for:

  • Scale-up Experience: You’ve navigated the "wild west" of a fast-growing company and know how to build structures that actually work without losing the soul of the company.
  • Ashby Expertise: You know Ashby inside and out (or have deep experience with similar high-growth ATS tools) and love using data to tell a story.
  • Leadership Heart: You have a proven track record of leading international teams in the US, the UK and Germany.
  • Global Mindset: You are located either in the US (East Coast), the UK (near London), or Germany (Berlin/Düsseldorf) and thrive in a cross-border environment.
  • Linguistic Skills: English is mandatory (it’s how we communicate across the globe), and German is a plus.
  • Communication Style: You are candid, caring, and professional, but you don't take yourself too seriously. After all, we make magic for children!
